I am a big fan of using 2% chlorhexidine as a prep scrub. Whether I am using it after air abrasion, or just to clean a prep it is a common part of my restorative routine. However, one of the decisions each dentist has to make is what specific product to use. There are specific products sold as prep scrubs or we can try to make our own. In this video, I will covers some options, as well as which chlorhexidine products to stay away from because they can interfere with bonding.
