Mounting models in Centric Relation is critical for diagnosis, but the challenge is how to do it digitally. A “Buccal Bite” scan is classically how we mount models in the digital world; If we do this with the patient’s teeth together we capture a maximum Intercuspal Bite Record, but in order to gain further clinical data crucial for an accurate and complete diagnosis, we will also need to capture a Centric Relation Bite Record. In this video we will discuss how to capture a Centric Relation Bite Record for a digital mounting.
