In dentistry we are accustomed to dealing with patients who have pain. The majority of the time it is acute odontogenic pain. In this video I will discuss the characteristic differences between acute and chronic dental pain. You will be able to listen to a patient describe their pain and know which is which. This is important information needed prior to deciding to partner with them to find a resolution or pain management strategy.
