Anterior implant success is evaluated both in the appearance of the prosthetic result, but also in the biologic result. The most common negative outcome in anterior implant dentistry is failure of the pink esthetic result. To a large degree the biologic and prosthetic outcome can be predicted on the front end. In this webinar we will go through a systematic look at the diagnostic criteria for assessing the risks to optimal outcome when planning anterior implant dentistry. We will also look at how to minimize or manage the risk factors prior to implant placement to ensure a more optimal outcome.
Learning objectives
- Predict the biologic changes with accuracy
- Identifying high risk cases where esthetics may be less predictable
- Understanding how to manage the risk factors pre-operatively to ensure a more favorable outcome
