One of the most important treatment planning considerations in anterior implants is facial prominence. There are two components, root prominence and facial inclination of the crown of the tooth. Facial prominence fo the root of a tooth prior to extraction and implant placement is a critical factor, in where the fixture needs to be placed, and making sure you maximize the facial soft tissue esthetic appearance.
