In this second video in our series on veneer preparations I want to look at the decision to break contact. The variation in prep design for veneers allows for keeping the ceramic labial to the contact and leaving the natural interproximal intact. We also often decide to remove the natural contact and recreate it in the ceramics of the veneer. We will discuss the clinical and treatment planning circumstances that drive this decision.
