In this video Dr. Lee Ann Brady explains setting condylar inclination and capturing a protrusive record.
Condylar inclination is a setting we can customize on the articulator in order to more precisely mimic the relationship of the maxillary and mandibular teeth in excursive movements. This accuracy allows us to treatment plan, execute restorative and do trial equilibrations that are predictably reproducible in the mouth. One way to customize theis articulator setting is with a protrusive bite record.
