I just got back from Chicago, where i spend a week every year in February. It is the largest combination of dental meetings in one week of any other time of the year. from The American Equilibration Society Meeting, two prosthodontics societies annual meetings, The Restorative and Operative Academies and of course the Chicago Dental Society Midwinter meeting. It is also the week that most of the business of dentistry gets accomplished and new product launches usually occur. With all of this happening you might think it's obvious why I go. I go for all of those reasons, but mostly I go to reconnect with friends and mentors across dentistry that I only get to see in person during this week. Community is one of the most valuable parts of life and work.
