When taking photos of our patients for what ever reason, may it be for diagnostic purposes, digital shade matching, patient records or any other reason, the sort of file we save our photographs as is incredible important. Saving files incorrectly could cause us significant trouble down the line. With some basic formatting understanding, we can ensure we take and save photographs our patients in the most accurate and effective way.

About Charlie Ward, DDS

Dr. Charlie Ward graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science degree and went straight into the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. He earned his DDS degree in 2008, and since then has completed the Essentials courses and many others at the esteemed Pankey Institute, where he now serves as visiting faculty. He is currently a member of the Maryland State Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. He regularly presents at state and national meetings and is a key presenter in the Pankey Aesthetics program.
