

One of the most common dilemmas in treatment planning is whether or not to open vertical dimension as part of the proposed treatment. First we wrestle with the idea of opening it because we think there is evidence it has “collapsed”. Second, we wrestle with whether or not we can open it as a tool to help resolve restorative or functional issues. Third, we wrestle with what the consequences will be if we open it: Are there any risks? Once we do make the decision to change vertical we have to answer how much and what process for predictability. This webinar will look at all of these questions.
