Doing Things The Same Way

Whether it is in the dental profession or our personal lives habits are a hard thing to break. Sometimes we do things a certain way because it made scientific sense at one point in time, even if that was a very long time ago. We keep doing it long after we can no longer remember the original "why", and the reason becomes "because we have always done it this way". Learning new dental materials and techniques requires letting go of how you have always done things.

Dr. Eric Farmer maintains a practice in Wichita, KS where he has focused on general and cosmetic dentistry for 20 years. He was voted one of the Top Dentists in Wichita by his dental peers and served as President of the Wichita District Dental Society. Dr. Eric Farmer graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry in 1991 and since then has taken more than 2,800 hours of advanced continuing education.
