Oral cancer screenings are a quick and simple way to potentially save someone's life. We all learned how to do this screening exam in dental school, but often it gets lost or abbreviated in practice. In this video I will share what we do in my office to ensure we are thoroughly checking our patients for signs of oral cancer, through manual exams and with the use of technology such as a Velscope.
