A custom incisal guide table is used to capture the patient's excursive pathways and functional occlusal patterns on a set of mounted models. This record is then used to maintain or alter the occlusal pattern with intention during the fabrication of restorations or a wax-up. When restoring a patient with pathway wear this record is a key to NOT violating their envelope of function.
