The last few days attending Leadership & Legacy I have really begun thinking about the idea of integration. Often after a CE course we think about what we have implemented, and use this as a way to judge the value of the program and our effectiveness. Integration is about the incorporation of ideas, new curiosities, seeing things differently and is way more subtle then implementation, the physical manifestation of new learning. I am also coming to understand that integration is possibly the more powerful first cousin of implementation, as we are different not just the environment we create around ourselves.
