As my kids have become young adults and our relationship has changed from caregiver to teacher, to role model and now to adult friends I wondered how Kelly and I did that? I think int he moment you just do what needs to be done and follow your gut. I often wished kids had come with an owner's manual, but they don't. One of the gifts I have now is I can look back and wonder about what went into how things have turned out. Thought I'd share one observation.
