To be fair, life's a lot like yoga, and yoga is a lot like life! I'm sure you can relate to the idea that some moments feel pretty balanced, and other moments even the smallest shift can send us falling on our noses. Some days are super predictable, and on others it's one surprise after the next with no idea what is coming next. The one that can always be a constant though, is remembering that just how many times each of us gets to see beyond our immediate reaction and into the different choices that can be made. I know this may sound familiar...and even cliche. Yet most of us don't learn this lesson once and attain mastery. In reality, gentle reminders to take a deep breath, or maybe even laugh, can be helpful in regaining that all elusive balance and sense of well-being.
