Today I got to use one of the newer products in my office for a unique application and it worked great. LuxaBite is a bisacryl-based bite registration material from DMG America. Unlike silicone it is completely rigid once set.  I have been using it to lute together implant impression copings for multiple unit restorations, but today I had to take an open tray impression for a lower hybrid. It worked great and LuxaBite will be my go-to material for this in the future.
