Rob Matta is a ceramist and co-owner of Gold Dust Dental Lab.

He grew up in Europe as an Air Force brat and spent his teenage years in Escanaba, Michigan, graduating from University of Michigan. With an eye on dental school, he interned more than 20 years ago at Gold Dust Dental Lab and never left.

As a CDT and master ceramist, Rob is considered a very unique talent in dentistry because of his ability to make doctors’ visions a reality.

Rob’s business partner is Paul Lindsey, and he credits him with his longest and most successful relationship. He has two boys, ages 4 and 6, loves being a dad, enjoys golf when the ball goes straight, loves to travel and competes in Olympic-style power lifting.
