The American Dental Association has changed their antibiotic recommendations for dental patients. The FDA long ago gave Clindamycin a black box warning due to the risks and side effects. These recent changes remove it as a drug of choice for dental infections or prophylaxis. I'll discuss the recent changes and what you might choose to prescribe instead in this video.
