Pediatric Airway and Tongue Tie Assessment

Learn about assessing tongue ties in infants, children and adults and how it can relate to airway issues. Also learning how to recognize other signs and symptoms to better assess and treat our pediatric population for airway issues.

 

 

Learning objectives

  • Learn how to assess a tongue tie condition
  • Assess airway risk factor
  • Understand common signs and symptoms that are frequently missed
  • Understand the use of advanced screening tools such as pulse oximetry and potential treatments

She has been in private practice for 13 years after graduating from Creighton Dental School. She enjoys a multidisciplinary approach to dentistry and patient care.
