Ransomware is malicious software that encrypts (or claims to encrypt) files on computers and servers, or locks their screen to prevent you from using them. If this happened to systems in your dental practice it would be a very bad day. Usually you are asked to pay a ransom within a few hours or days to avoid a loss of all data. In this video I go over steps you can take to reduce your risk and give your practice a fighting chance.
