Words Matter! That has been a belief of mine for a long time. We all create and define our reality in language. This grants us the opportunity to create a positive empowering reality, or to straddle ourselves with quilt and limitations. You may be thinking this is giving way too much power to words. My experience is that the meanings I hold for certain words, their implications and how they are used to convey meaning have a profound impact on my experiences. One example is the simple shift between using the word "Should" versus the word "Could". I learned this lesson many years ago from my dear friends Mary Osborne and Joan Unterschuetz. Using the word could is still a work in progress.
