Staying Hydrated is Key

Posted on: 03.21.17 | by John Nosti

Staying adequately hydrated during the day is important for us and for our patients. People with a faster resting heart rate can experience a slowing of your heart rate when they are dehydrated and then you start feeling sluggish. In addition your brain capacity decreases, and our ability to do our jobs can be compromised. The minimum is half of our body weight in ounces to stay hydrated. If that isn't enough being dehydrated can have a dramatic effect on our patients.
