Taking A Break

Posted on: 07.29.17 | by Sheri Kay

One of the common threads that brings this particular community together is that we all work really super hard. In my own response to the long and intense hours I find it imperative to plan for breaks at least once a quarter. My brain needs to stretch in different ways and I crave the opportunity to connect with people outside of my immediate sphere of influence. More than anything, I love not having a tight planned structure and being open to some kind of exploration. Today I found myself in the middle of a Chihuly exhibit in downtown Seattle appreciating the incredible beauty unfolding through this artists' unparalleled creativity. Now it's time for me to tap into some creativity of my own as I immerse in new learning with good friends and new friends in a wonderful workshop.
