As we continue the conversation around uses for teflon tape, one of my favorites is to tighten a sectional matrix band. There is nothing more annoying than placing the band, the wedge and the ring and still having a gap where you just know composite is going to extrude. Instead of removing everything and trying again, I simply use teflon tape to tighten the band up against the tooth.
