We can select from dentin adhesives from the total etch two bottle variety that have been around for many many years, use a self etch or even use one of the new Universal adhesives that have only been available for the last year or so. The questions I think we all ask ourselves is "Are they all doing the same thing clinically?" "Will I get superior clinical results with one over the other?" and of course "Can I use one kind for everything I do, or do I need multiple types in my inventory?" These are all great and valid questions to ask.
As with all materials conversations the answers are based on the chemical and physical properties of the materials as well as your clinical application. With each new generation of adhesives we gained some incredible advances in chemistry and physical properties, but we also gave up something.
In this webinar we will look at the techniques and materials available and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of different approaches. We'll then create a predictable system to get maximum success, measured by lack of sensitivity and restorative longevity.
