In this second part of my intro series on microscopes, I'll give you a tour of my Zeiss dental microscope. Most brands of microscopes are similar, so what I'll show you should apply to almost any that you may encounter. I'll explain its ergonomics, the uniqueness of its binocular vision, setting the "PD" and how it works if you are wearing glasses. I'll discuss how it differs from dental loupes and the slightly greater learning curve. You may also be surprised with the various lighting and curing modes as well. Finally I'll explain an important feature you will want if you do alot of restorative dentistry.
