Dental patients often present with severe erosion or attrition to the lingual of the upper anterior teeth. As the wear process occurs slowly over time, the teeth experience secondary eruption and stay in occlusal contact. This presents the dilemma of not having enough room to restore the teeth without removing even more tooth structure.
