What is HTTPS?
To put it as simply as possible it the process in which data is sent between your browser (Explorer or Safari etc.) and your website. The “s” means this data will be secure or encrypted. If you haven’t already receive notification of this recommended upgrade from your website provider you will soon. This is something everyone will eventually need to do for:
- website ranking
- mobile ranking & AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages)
- visitor confidence
