Lithium disilicate, known to most of us as e.max, has revolutionized all ceramic indirect restorative dentistry. It is a highly versatile, highly esthetic, very strong ceramic. Lithium disilicate's versatility as a restorative material is evident in your options for seating it. The material has enough inherent strength to be bonded or cemented.
